Billing Specialist Job
Summary:
Verifying benefit coordinationUnderstanding authorization processes and proceduresClean claim submissions Reconciling insurance EOB's and patient accountsDefining and resolving centralized billing issuesMonitors and maintains accurate aging reports to ensure timely collectionsIdentifies and researches issues related to unpaid or rejected claimsInteracts with third party payers, patients or clients to resolve outstanding claim issuesAnswers calls/questions from patients, third party payers, clients and co-workers in a timely and professional mannerIdentifies, researches and reports status of delinquent or overpaid accounts
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Must have 2 years of previous medical billing, coding experience.
MS Office, basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry) and basic math skills.
